Woodenbridge Golf Club played Boystown Golf Club on Sunday April 20th 2008. While Boystown had a home advantage of 3 matches, Woodenbridge fielded a team mixed with youth and experience. The two home matches were successful both Winning their matches on the 18th… Thanks to John Kavanagh & Gary Coyne and Liam Canning & Conor Brennan. Away were Dudley Byrne & Barney Joyce who were narrowly beaten on the 18th and the other matches of Sean Darcy & Brian Byrne and Gavin Moran & Mark Burke were beaten 16th & 17th respectfully Thanks to the boys who fought so hard and to all members of the panel who trialled against Arklow in the practice build up. Well done to Boystown and to Arklow in their success and we wish them well in their future matches.
