Canapés, exploding golf balls and fine weather, at least as fine as could reasonably be expected in March.  What more could one ask for at a Captain’s Drive-In?

Crowds gathered once again to witness our new captains execute a flawless Drive-In at 1.30 pm on Sunday March 16th.  Our Captain Anthony Richardson and Lady Captain Flo Meredith were joined on the 18th fairway by Junior Captains Niamh Byrne and Conor Phelan. 

The day was once again celebrated with a mixed 4-person scramble (2 men & 2 ladies) with a shotgun start followed by dinner and some cracking entertainment.  A total of 33 teams competed, 9 Early-Bird teams set out at 8.00 am led by our Vice-Captain Gavin and 24 teams at 2.00 pm.  The competition was generously sponsored by Tommy Dunne of AIB.  The winners are listed in the results section.
