Woodenbridge defeated Djouce Mountain Golf Club on Friday 18th of April, by winning seven out of nine matches, and are through to the second round. The Team consisted of Captain Tony Richardson, T.J.Mernagh, Jason Moran, Mark Burke, Conor Brennan, Damien Coyle, Jim Kavanagh, Declan Tanham and Arnold Byrne.

Woodenbridge win in epic Provincial Towns Tie.
Woodenbridge advanced to the third round of the Provincial Towns Cup after an epic battle against Kilcoole. With the outcome of the tie coming down to the last pairing in Kilcoole, it was left to Tony Macken to overcome his opponent. Despite being one down playing 18, Tony managed a valiant par on the 20th hole, to see off his opponent.
Congratulations to all team members; Conor Brennan, Trevor Prestage, Mark Burke, Jim Kavanagh, TJ Mernagh, Damian Coyle, Tony Macken, Jason Moran and Arnold Byrne. Woodenbridge go forward to meet Coolattin in the next round.
