Woodenbridge defeated Djouce Golf Club by 3 matches to 2 on Sunday April 6th 2008. Our next match versus Coollattin is at 3.00p.m. on Sunday April 27th 2008.

Woodenbridge were narrowly defeated 3 – 2 by Coollattin on Sunday April 27th in the Leinster Fourball Trophy.  Well Done to the home winners at Woodenbridge, Vincent Caffrey and Tommy Birthistle and the away winners Declan Lynch and Bernard Kavanagh.  A very special mention for John Carney who valiantly brought his opponents to the 15th despite having to play them on his own due to a “no show” by his partner.  Congrats ,also, to the rest of the team, Fr.Gerry O’Brien & Gerry O’Neill, Mike Roberts & Charlie Travers and Matt Duffy (who was away for the Coollattin match) for a sterling performance over our two matches.
